The Island

you guys all board a ship that is heading for florida, but it shipwrecks and you drift onto a beach. you do not know anything about your surroundings. you can have 10 items with you. they can be anything that won't instantly win the game for you. In other words, a plane is not an acceptable item,same with a yacht or a year-supply of food. A rocket launcher, while unrealistic, is acceptable because it won't result in an insta-win (although it will be very funny when you ROFL-luanch yourself with it. Everyone is stranded on the island. so if someone else plays you have access to his items.
now you are faced with two choices, either return to civilization. or make a living in this new environment. If you do anything uniguely stupid, your dead. I reccomend trying to survive first before trying to escape.

This is the sign up thrad for the game. simply post your 10 items and your preffered camp number (1-4, max 5 players per camp). Note that you are playing as yourself! You are completely human and have no special abilities other than what you know, however, you may use the internet to get tips on how to survive.

What about diplomacy? If someone tries to send someone to bargain and they die we're screwed if we need those supplies!
